I do recall seeing that previously, I had to look one of his songs up as I couldn't recall his name. Never heard of him until I heard Mercy Street covered by Happy Rhodes. Peter Gabriel.
When I saw the Peter Gabriel album cover I started a Google search. Mind you, the car was ringing a tiny bell in my head, and then (when I knew what the car actually was) I remembered Car SOS.

This is one for the North Eastern members!!
Three "questions" in so far Mick, and I'll give you a progress report, 0 out of 3 so far, so could be heading for my worst ever quiz performance on the FCF and its about my home town!
3 out of 8 Mick not that brilliant. Surprised at the 1972 shot of the Central Motorway prior to it being finished. Thought it was much more ancient than that The opening credits of whatever happened to the likely lads I'm sure hav it in with the Manors multi story and other such monstrosities.
Bit of a car whatsthisthen? springing out of the pre-central motorway bit.....

On my phone that picture is about 6mm long so I'll have a wild punt at jag mk10 just from the roofline!!
This is as big as I can get it and not that clear, but I think that you have nailed it Gibbo...with the one minor observation in that if the C-Pillar has a Vinyl covering (which I dont think it does), the Sunbeam Rapier version of the fastback could come into contention.
