I know we've wondered off from what's this BMW 700 but over the w/e I saw a BMW Glas - or so it was badged, seems I MIGHT have been closer than I thought.

Try this one, I know what it is and what it fits but does anyone else?
It's new, old stock, sitting on my shelf looking for a new owner for the last umpteen years.

Its a left hand drive Gibbo, and its not British. This Gazoline Magazine has a feature on its "stablemate". Not exactly common but both the beginning and the end of a new era for the marque depending on your point of view. Some regard our whatsthisthen? and its stablemate the last of the line.
Now onto yours, not much to go on so maybe the scattergun approach is required
Looks like it could come from the BMC/BL/Austin/Rover/Triumph etc etc stable. Would that be getting warm?

Although not a Ford, wasn't there one such which could have its engine started by swapping over two of the plug-in dash switches...?

Re: Whatsthisthen?.entries invited
So not LUCAS rocker switches then................or maybe they are? Look pretty similar to this single rocker for the wipers

Straight question for you Gibbo.......Is your little car part made by LUCAS
Regards Neil
PS...and don't give up on mine, obviously European, and the more desirable of the two stablemates was designed by pininfarina. I do like both but our whatsthisthen? is probably the acquired taste "uglier" one of the two.

Re: Whatsthisthen?.entries invited
I'll answer my own question. They are made by LUCAS and the part looks very similar to this...edit....looks like I have come up with the wrong answer not Lucas but very very very similar
trouble is no more details from the pic I found.....out of stock!

It's just occurred to me that your one is a Fiat from around the 60s/70s, a Spider 124 maybe.
I had a Fiat 127 3P for a while back in the 80s similar pedal position, riding almost side saddle

Re: Whatsthisthen?.entries invited
Some would say it was a Fiat. seeing as that was the "owner" of the Marque, but other say it was the last true example of the marque before Fiat got its claws into it properly.
Now as far as your little switches go, you have so far defeated me and the internet. So not Lucas.....Valeo, Bosch?

I'd say Lancia (can't be more precise) but there's something nagging me about that blue & yellow rectangular badge . . .
