I'm in good hands that's good to know, first impressions are very good.
Waiting for AA now...

Strut tops are 167 inc vat. Massive piece of mind once its done!
Just worried the car is going to fall to bits now! We will see.

Well I went to see malcolm and had an enjoyable afternoon watching experience at work. Did I say I had a water leak too hence AA flat bed truck? Well Malcolm swapped out the strut top and then fitted a new seal and plastic holder. fiddly but its in, so for a while my Xantia works again. Malcolm seemed happy it was a decent car even though it's bruised and battered. Some pics:
