We've got VW Caddy's for work and they're absolutely atrocious in the snow!
Mine is now 4 years old and is due for changing. They've decided to give us Pauxhall Combo's with the 1.3 litre Fiat Diesel engine in them. I've not read a single good thing about that engine!!

Re: Bxzx's Blingo Blog
I managed to get the airfeed pipe and associated pipework rattle sorted which has really been annoying me. I'll see how my fix holds up and if it does it'll save on silicone hose which I was planning on using. Next job will be an oil and filter change and that's about it. When I get a good couple of days I'll be machine polishing the paintwork using a different polish to my 3M/Meguiars combo, the new polishing compound is Sonax perfect finish which shold do ok for a single stage polish, I'll post up pics and views on the results when I get it done.

Re: Bxzx's Blingo Blog
The blingo is booked in tomorrow morning for its MoT, it's hard to believe I've had it for nearly a year. It'll get a good wash in the morning followed by a good run to blow the cobwebs away. I don't think it'll want anything but you never know
.

Best of luck with the MOT, Mark.
Always a sigh of relief when they get the certificate for the next 12 months!

Thanks David, it's not done a great deal of miles since last year so fingers crossed.

You'll miss the Berlingo if you do! I miss mine so much that I've sent the wife to Cambridge in the C4 for the weekend.

Re: Bxzx's Blingo Blog
It's not too much of a fail Mark. Personally I would rather have a blingo rather than a 406 coupe. I have to put practicality before style now. If it weren't for my buggered back I would do style.

Re: Bxzx's Blingo Blog
If the blingo rode as well as the 406 is would be nice, the pug just soaks the bumps up where the blingo just doesn't.

Re: Bxzx's Blingo Blog
That's not a bad fail list really. I agree though, it'd be the 406 that I kept if I was in your position, Mark.

Re: Bxzx's Blingo Blog
The 406 owes me next to nothing whereas the blingo quite alot more, I'd really love to get some use out of the 406.

Re: Bxzx's Blingo Blog
Mark, don't you use the 'Lingo for daily duties and the 406 for pleasure as I do with the C1 and Activa?

Re: Bxzx's Blingo Blog
Everytime I use the 406 I don't want to put it back in the garage
. It's such a nice sedate plodder with some grunt when required.

Re: Bxzx's Blingo Blog
Mark, the answer is simple...
Get two, a scruffy one for daily duties and your nice one to cherish at weekends and special occasions only
