& totally in keeping with a vehicle falling into the price bracket they now are. This, owever, is obviously NOT a catering van so would be interesting to know how that level of finish/expenditure had been applied in other areas.

Absolutement - although, as I believe I mentioned before, I did toy with getting one of those Pugs - it's the sheer eccentricity of the external rad. shell on a FWC that does it for me.

In traffic yesterday on the way home from Gloucester there was the sound of a blown exhaust on 'something' coming past, it was a 2CV van. Not sure if my dash cam caught it, I'll check later.

Estafettes were actually quite attractive, combined with having that charm peculiar to French commercials of their era - but they're woefully underpowered, even by H-van standards.
afaik, there's only one specialist/importer (specialist importer?) over here but the H-van dealers are picking them up (rather than drag an empty trailer home) as they're more plentiful (the Germans haven't latched on to them - yet!) & cheap; well, they were!

Its appeared in these pages before, but did visit St Boswells Main Street Trading Company where I don't think its moved since the last time. More of a Quirky Advertising thing than a functional van. The original seating for an H Van is probably the most primitive ever invented.
