I'm going to get an electrical probe into my spine with a box of tricks implanted in my groin. Then I'll have a wireless controller to carry about. When I get sore I crank up the power and instead of feeling pain, in their own words, I shall feel a "pleasant tingling sensation" Blooming long time since I felt one of them :rofl2: I hope the implanted box of tricks has duracell batteries nae tesco value :lol: :lol: I'll still have a knackered back and be weak and have to take it easy bot I shouldn't be in so much pain [-o<

Pedigreed cars has eventually got the c2 running! They haven't test driven it due to brokensprings but Iit starts and goes forwards and backwards! Waiting now to see if the AA approves the claim for springs.

It's now sitting in my drive. Drove the 50 miles home beautifully. Even running on broken springs. They left a bit of spring in the car. It had been cracked for a while by the look of them. I've just ordered a full set of springs at a heavily discounted 41quid off a website recommended to me on the c2 forum. They happen to have a 30mm drop! They will be easier to put in being shorter. Just to keep the car bad stuff going, the freelander has a massive exhaust blow, neede full exhaust and cat, and sons fiesta needs a clutch, which was delivered here today.Busy time ahead then. Fiesta going to local garage next week, they are replacing the clutch for £150, the kit cost £64 the 3 piece one. freelander is advertised for sale with burst exhaust, I cant afford to buy one just now and going to run the c2 for a while after the springs fitted. The c2 actually is a good drive, very enjoyable, and I dare say with new springs will be really chuckable. Shaun (my son) wants me to put him on the insurance and then wants it and leave me the fiesta. My response? :vomit1: :lolhit:

I wonder if it would be possible to fit an immobiliser keypad to the C2, to make sure he doesn't borrow it on the sly!

Just went looking on e-bay. This of any use to you?;

I saw that James, I also need a cat, the hangers of it are falling off and as soon as the bolts were touched I think it would disintegrate. There is a bean can and gungum round the worst bit for an emergency hold it together. I have just had to pay £523 for the c2, and Insurance paying £500!!!!! That has left me skint, totally. Both cars are needing road tax at the same time, end of May. I hope to move the freelander as it is too expensive for road tax and £30 of petrol only does about 100 miles.
