The motor that's in it is less than 10,000 miles old since it was rebuilt. It's not bad at all. It doesn't stop though. That's the fun part. I'd bring it down to you to sort it out if I had any way of getting it there! Needs towing on a bar or A-frame.

I think some of the pingfuckit springs that Malcolm mentions are *old* and may have shortened. I'm not 100% sure.

they dont usually shrink Mike they are very tight though,

with years of being put on and off they usually streach

They look like the ends might have chipped off, and they're not quite hooked any more. Should the adjusters have "top hats" on them, or just be as they are in the picture?

Handbrake? Ha. It just about has enough capability to pass the MOT. It's much more fun getting the back to slide out on a fast bend, and with two wheels at the front it's really very stable indeed.

I'd be interested in the C2 myself if it was only 2 happy meals.

even though they have a Toyota lump fitted, is has bin built to a very low budget,

the clutches fail at around 30k miles apparently, likewise the water pump completely collapses virtually without warning,

the only thing in there favor is they dont have a cam belt

I remember the company I worked for (quite a few years ago) had a contract to refurbish some IT equipment, including very expensive keyboards. Each key unit had (amongst other small bits) a little spring and cup. On average 1 in 4 keyboards used to come apart awkwardly (PingFUCKIT!), usually with all the springs and cups making a determined bid for freedom. There was no way to identify which keyboards were going to be tricky. This happened in front of my manager once, and after I explained this was a regular event, he asked what he could do to help. I jokingly suggested a baby incubator. I still don't know how, but he got the shell of one, and, although we still had keyboards throwing hissy fits, at least we could find all the bits afterwards.
