This is a ballache as I've had to tell the C5 buyer not to come because after months of not needing the bloody thing, now I do.
Oh (many expletives deleted)...

Hope it's nothing too serious Mike...

It was the edge of the lower side of the drivers side wheel arch liner catching on the crank pulley when turning left.. Now sorted. It needs a new undertray but it shouldn't make this noise again.

That's OK then Mike, Nothing deadly serious then...

So often after the application of lots of TLC something like that happens to take the shine off a bit...

I'm really pissed off because it's cost me the sale of the C5.

That's a ball-ache Mike. Could the intended purchaser not delay a bit to see you over this?

He's coming from a fair distance away and it was hard enough for him to arrange transport this time.. and he needs a vehicle as asap.

To get rid of my frustration I just did 20 mins on my cross trainer at the top setting as fast as I could, listening to Quo, as loud as my phone would play it..

Funny that Mike, I've just been doing the same on mine but listening to Gardener's Question Time and using my new heart rate monitor...

I also had a long ride on my exercise bike too...

Interestingly I have to work bloody hard to get up to my 85% Maximum Pulse Limit of 140 bpm.. I can get it above 140 bpm just on the cross-trainer if I go like a an Activa out of hell with it on max resistance but on my bike I can't get near, even with the resistance up full...

Running hard I can only make 120bpm... Either I have a duff ticker or my cardio-vascular health is good... I suspect the latter as my heart rate very rapidly falls when I warm down and rest...

Can't be much wrong as I don't feel exhausted when I train, however long I go for. I end up bored and soaked before I feel tired...

Now I'm going to do more karate despite very sore feet from the two hours of formal training this morning...

I too lost the sale of my car as the buyer was not too pleased but he was local so no travelling for him. I had also bought insurance to collect the C5 and i had a nice 2 mile walk back home that did wake me up, It was rather cold to be honest but hey things happen. Let's hope tomorrow will be a better day for all concerned.
