You mean the Relays between the Fans??

VERY Common with them corroding! and theres little excess wire behind them to pull the relays forward to work on them!

A Right PITA to mess with!

just had my car moted
1 NEARSIDE FRONT POSITION LAMS NOT WORKING
2 OFFSIDE FRONT POSITION LAMPS NOT WORKING
3NEARSIDE REAR DIRECTION INDICATOR INCORRECT COLOUR
4 NEARSIDE REPEATER INCORRECT COLOR
5 AND 6 FRONT TYRES NEED REPLACING
7 NEARSIDE FROUNT SUSPENSION ARM RUBBER MOUNTING DETERIORATED RESULTING IN EXCESSIVE MOVEMENT
8 NEAR SIDE FROUNT PARKING BRAKE RECORDING LITTLE OR NO EFFORT
9 BRAKE OPERATION HAS INSUFFICICIENT ASSISTANCE FOR AT LEAST TWO MORE BRAKE APPLICATIONS
10 SERVICE BRAKE EFFICIENCY BELOW REQUIREMENTS
PARKING BRAKE EFFICIENCY BELOW REQUIREMENTS

i know the brake cable snapped on one side. But it said about the frount breaks i think. Would a good bleed in the system change lhm fluid help with things ?
God knows about the light positioning. I cant see any switch to move the lamps up and down. But why do you need one if the suspension is self levelling
Indercater lights wrong colour bit strange

Its going to be about 350 pound Without tyres Just taxed it as well
i really like the car it drives superb. Goes like a rocket.

just wondering if there's any suggestions About the things required
cheers

I would be worried about item 7!
The handbrakes on a Xantia are cable operated, and do go to the front wheels. I would inspect both handbrake cables.

Items 1 and 2 'position lamps' are your front sidelights.

Items 3 & 4 Indicator bulbs on Xantia are tinted to the correct colour and they do fade over time.

Item 10 Service Brake efficiency: have you checked the state of the pads and discs on the front?

Item 7 I too would be worried by a broken handbrake cable 8-[

Best of luck, my MOT is due next week and I know from a 'clunk' last week that front offside lower ball joint has gone. Guess that's my weekend spannering sorted then !

I read item 7 as a (possibly) a failing strut mount.

Sidelight bulbs (DIY) , indicator bulbs (DIY) discs and pads at front (DIY), a P-bush and a pair of handbrake cables.

Oops...

What I meant to say was: Item 7 possibly the p-bush or the mushroom bush on the wishbone arm.

Personally all small things..

item 7 can be dealt with by replacing a bottom arm with bushes already on it.

bulbs will be the discolouration as the orange coating peeps off with age.

Hand brake cables will be affecting the parking brake recordings.

service brake could be poor rusty disks and low pads. Set of discs and pads and a bleed through should sort that..

All fairly easy stuff but it will be to me.
