Direct injection Paul, No real need for heater plugs.. but if you REALLY want to find it, its in the same place as the TD, bolted to the inner wing beside the battery..

Oopps.. The light will RARELY come on, as the direct injection doesnt need heating...

It may litterally for a SPLIT SECOND flick on then off when you first turn the key on... but thats about it... the light is in the same place as the TD's

The HDi is a very different engine to the ole TD engine. Im YET to put a set of heaters in my HDi in over 100k miles...

They do, but the HDi rarely uses the glow plugs as it doesn't need them unless it's very cold.

I've never seen the one on the Berlingo come on in 2 years. Lexia showed me that some of the plugs were duff in summer 2012, so we replaced them anyway.

Thats lucky its a 2 litre Mike. 1.6 16v HDi plugs dont come out, the heater element BREAKS off in the head! NEVER attempt to change plugs in the 1.6 ...

2.0 ones arent so bad..

!
It won't start with a screwdriver will it, as the immobiliser tag won't be present... if so, I wouldn't worry about it too much. I wouldn't do it when driving though, just in case the steering lock suddenly activates!

It's the best way to be Paul. The only way, in fact. Apart from when you're driving , of course.
