Merged Lexia & Diagbox threads

nope. couldn't install that - straight to install error.
took apart the VCI but everything looked ok.
i'm going to uninstall diagbox and go back to lexia only version + VCI (which I bought off Aliexpress a while ago). this worked back in C5 days, so no harm in trying.

ok the lexia install done - at least the lexia recognises both old and new interfaces.
will try on the car tomorrow - fingers crossed.

I wonder if anyone else has had this problem, I upgraded from Diagbox 7.02 to 7.57 but now when I connect to the car and start fault finding it tries to connect to PSA and the internet then when it can't it puts a big pop up on the screen trying to diagnose connection problem the problem is I can't see the screen behind to see if there are any faults !! Any ideas

Hi - when using your Diagbox system, leave your wireless / network card enabled - but DISCONNECT from any active network connection (and don't allow it to reconnect) whilst using it. When it says 'Check for Updates' or anything press the Red Cross and it will carry on as normal. You should not have it connected to the Internet during use.

When I try to get parts by VIN in the Citroen Doc Back Up I got the following message "Corvet@ not available". It means that it can not find car parts by VIN. A week ago I was able to get car's parts by VIN and since last week I got this message. I think it happened after I updated the Java. Any one knows how I can solve it.

What is Lexia equivalent of APPDIAG.SYS in Diagbox? Do I need to make a copy of the licence file (whatever that is)?

We normally refer that as the licence file for Diagbox as Lexia and Peugeot Planet 2000 software is encapsulated within it. So just backup that APPDIAG.SYS file. If you are installing stand alone Lexia I don’t think it is applicable

still only recognises injection & suspension control units. so basically the same problem as I started off with.
i picked up an interface checker program from somewhere (I can't remember where and why) - will this able to tell me if the interface has a problem? if so, can anyone tell me how to use this thing?

Are you actually sure you have a full-chip kit? - not all the clones have all the board components to talk so some models of Peugeot and C5 / C6 - or is your unit an older revision B unit? - in which case it may only work with older versions of Diagbox (some will only work with DB 5/6, but others have reported success with DB V 7.02). There are no hard and fast rules here because of the clone market and they are not all made the same.

If you have the interface checker - connect up your VCI to your laptop via USB (not the car) and launch the interface checker programme, then hit the 'Version' button and 'Reference' buttons and post a screen shot so I can see it.

Hi Zohar, the 'Marques' are the collective PSA brands if you like - Citroen, Peugeot, DS Automobiles (and in Europe of course GM Vauxhall that PSA have recently bought).
