I was suspecting this, which is why I asked about the button lights.

Thanks again.

You will also need the correct drivers door module fitted to make this work. They are not all the same and the seat control ECU has to talk to this module for the memorisation functions to work, as the memory system not only remembers the seat positions but also the external mirrors and climate control settings.

I am still a bit confused... #-o My car is a 204 HP 2.2 hdi exclusive LHD C5. It had the half leather seats with memory function but no massage no heating. The previous owner retrofitted a full leather memory-massage-heating seats. Electric adjusment works but the memory-massage-heating function doesnt. Today I removed both front door cards but there is no door module neither sides. There are no connections for the door module. If the car had the memory seats (checked by VIN) why there is no any door module? Do i need to fit different door wiring harness?

If you check this link you can see this car also has memory function but doesnt have the door module. http://www.aussiefrogs.com/forum/citro% ... irror.html

Ok, you have to understand that you are trying to make something functional from 2 different cars - one that had the option and one that didn't. Just to complicate matters further, the options changed throughout production and some features were dropped like the rear view electrochromed mirrors. So will depend on build year and options fitted. Below is where the units are located where fitted.

On that link to Aussie frogs, he probably doesn't have the option. That is why the full option mirrors cost a fortune.

(1) Electric exterior rear view mirror  (right).
(2) Lighting and rear view mirror memorisation unit.
(3) Seat memorisation unit.
(4) Electric exterior rear view mirror  (L.H. side).
(5) Lumbar adjustment control.
(6) Seat back height adjustment control.
(7) Seat position adjustment controls.
(8) Heated seats temperature adjustment control.
(9) Massaging seat activation/deactivation switch  (on driver’s seat only).
For now don't worry about the lighting memorisation / indexing unit - as that was only available on early models as part of detection pack 2, so you probably won't have it.

What you do need to do though is use Diagbox to tell your car's BSI that the option is there and so that it can communicate with the seat Memorisation ECU. You'll need somebody with access to Diagbox to do this for you. The BSI will need to be put in manual configuration mode and then the appropriate option enabled in the BSI. So below, make sure the 'Driver's Seat with Electric Adjustment and Memory' is set to 'Present' and make sure the 'Driver's seat with manual adjustment' is set to 'Absent'.

You also need to locate the following options:
  • Presence of massaging front seats and change this to YES
  • Presence of Heated Seats and change this to YES
