Re: c5 exclusive parking sensors......
I've tried on my car if the parking sensors would be on when put in reverse, but without the engine running ... no go ... the reverse lights light up, but the sensors aren't applied (RNEG unit, keeps displaying the radio or whatever else ... if the engine was running, a birds-eye view of the car would automatically be displayed) ...

Re: c5 exclusive parking sensors......
Parking sensor(s) caused service text warning with a sharp beep sound in my car. Until I got the new replacement part I disabled the parking sensors from the button on the lower dashboard. Today I replaced the broken sensor (the one next to front left fog light) and it works fine now.VertVega wrote:I didn't have problems with them yet but if I were to find the broken one I would ...
Here is my tip on How to find the broken parking sensor?
Engine running, touch each 4 sensors in front, with your finger tip.
Healthy sensor ticks/vibrates so that you can feel it at your finger tip.
Ticking rate is something like 0.5s.
For rear sensors you should use reverse gear and ask someone to check them while you're pressing the brakes
