Decided on the summer tyres for the next 2 seasons (hopefully) ... I've bought used Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 245/40 R19 98Y XL (MFS rim protection) tyres; ratings C (fuel economy), A (wet grip), 70db ... we'll see how they'll cope ... the first impressions are good, surprisingly soft for a GY tyre and no issues going all the way up to 210 kmh (couldn't push the car to the max, but this is close) ... now, I need to wait how they'll cope with the rain and wet roads

I'm now in the passive selling phase ... advertised my car on one of our biggest local selling sites, if it sells, good, if it won't, I'll stick with it for a while longer ... if I do manage to sell it, then I'll figure out what to buy .. the muscle car is still high on the list of course, to hell with the excess CO2 ... :D

IF you do sell it and leave the Citroen Clan, please let the forum host your images so they are not lost Vb....

I'll still have a Citroen in the family, so it's not like I'd be totally leaving the Citroen Clan... as for the photos, they're already outside of my reach/control (hosted on imgup, no account or other boundaries of the sort), so they're free (so to speak) to be rehosted anywhere ( copyright applies though ... :D )

Like I've said, that's only passive selling ... :D ... if the right buyer comes, why not, but it's not like I'm in any hurry to sell it ... but if I actually do manage to sell if pretty soon, I already have plans for what my next project would be ... :D ... but it all depends on the value-for-money and other financial trends and possibilities at that given time

Don't ... :D ... that's one of my hidden desires (currently unobtainable though) ... when I think what I could do/modify with the dropping gearstick when the car gets turned off ... :D

I seriuosly considering 4.2l supercharged (400+HP) as my weekend or fun car(on work days it will be driven by my wife) I actualy was suprised how cheap it is (12500eur and it have LPG system fitted-) I also asked about parts repair cost and iwas assured that is not expensive car to maintain. I tried short drive and was pleased- it have all virtues of c5 x7 - same size feeling (not too big/heavy) silent, refined, and automatic gearbox is way above c5 gearbox(al4 is disaster but I tried c5 v6 petrol with aisin gearbox- its still not right box IMHO)

The cheapest one (that I know of) in Croatia is 18000 € ... and that's a 2,7 diesel engine, 152 kW ... not that far fetched price wise, but it's a 2008 car, with 180000 km ... I could swap to an older car that mine, but it should at least have less kilometers, else it won't make sense

Hm seem cars in Croatia much more expensive than here..
I'm not sure how you bought yours c5, but at i evaluate car by driving it.
age, mileage does not make sense to me. if car pass this driving test then i look further. Car age makes sense when it is 2-4years old, anything more and it just used old car. no matter its 2008 or 2012years made..

Sadly for me (and other Croats), yes ... we were looking forward to cheap importing once the EU accession finishes in 2013, but like I've explained to you via PM, we still have an "import tax", which isn't a tax, bit a fee ... different name for the same s**t ... on a regular basis, every year you have to pay additional tax for the car, until it is over 10 years old (that's extra to the yearly MOT and insurance, and the road tax that you pay in every liter of gas/diesel) ... the car's age is usually taken as a "wear" measure, less mileage means the car is in overall better shape (the seats, the suspension, etc ... unless they've passed a certain point, and have some of those fully replaced, but the seats, door panels, steering wheels, and other interior cosmetics rarely get changed for cosmetic only, unless they were damaged)
