I did find them a pain in the arse to clean when I had them, I ran them on my white VSX for quite some time (the exact wheels you're looking at buying). I'm not one for bothering with cleanliness particularly, but I did find they took a while to clean, but only as long as it took to shove the sponge between each spoke, that usually did a good enough job of cleaning them, no fancy sprays or tools.

Well I bought them and stock them on my xanta. They're in very good nick for used alloys and have 2 excellent and 2 new tyres so i'm pretty pleased. I gave them a good scrub before fitting although sine acid may be needed on the inside of a couple to get then spotless. I've had them up to 40mph and haven't detected any shakes yet so fingers crossed there's no buckles.

Anybody want my mk2 exclusive wheels??

The picture isn't the car he got the wheels from Guy, just an example off the internet.

I much prefer the S2 Exclusive wheels to these but both stlyes are just as annoying to have balanced.

Ideally I would find another pair of S1 Activa rims and have them on my Exclusive. I think they look much better and they are centre-less ... unlike S2 Activa wheels. Why did they do that!

What a beaut!

The suspension needs to come down at the front a little though.

Errr, not sure what model it was originally. but it has electric windows all round, air con and I've fitted all the goodies from an exclusive like the seats, doorcards, headunit and CD changer

No alarm fitted though, not even the factory one!

Hmmm, I can understand why Jim says they're a bit fiddly to clean - think I'll stick with my plastic imitation alloy wheel trims

It is indeed the NI Xantia with the amazingly low road tax. I'm still after panels but the ones I really need you have cut up! i.e drivers door and passenger front wing. Unscraped bumper would be nice too.

I'm starting to toy with the idea of selling my Xantia some time in the new year as I want to get my XM on the road and can't afford/justify having both of them on the road. I have a new job 3 miles from home too so the PHENOMENAL fuel consumption of the Xantia isn't so important.

But then, I may just keep the Xantia and have the XM as a driveway ornament.

I cut them up because they were damaged! The drivers door was a badly painted one, the ORIGINAL door the top hinge had also given up and allowed the door to drop...
