Hello, This is a WJY engine. I have just installed diagbox 6.01 and will try to connect to the car tommorrow. Hopefully I can get a code then.

Upgraded to diagbox 7.04 without problems but I am unable to connect to the car. Ignition is on and I am using lexia3 box connected to the cars obdII connection.

Check that your Lexia hardware isn't a far-east clone. Some of them won't work on Diagbox 6 or 7 because they're missing a chip.
As far as I know only the more expensive Lexia purchased from Jim at Easydiagnostics will work with 7.
