I think I got mine from Pleiades for the Activa and it was £280 for all 10

Re: My HDi Xantia
Well the car must have known I was thinking about selling... I washed and cleaned it at the weekend only for it to blow its LHM fluid all over Sainsburys fuel station forecourt tonight... Oops! Looks like a pipe is leaking/split/burst between the engine and the driver side turret quite low in the bay.
I don't know whether I can be bothered to get it sorted, I might just scrap it ? I don't have the time and I could just replace it with a Focus with T&T for a month until I get my company car. Going to sleep on it but might offer it up here first would make a great daily for someone with some time to sort this LHM leak as I have spent a fair bit on it keeping it on the road.

Slept on it and decided it's probably best to fix it

Re: My HDi Xantia
Difficult to know before you get under it - but candidates include the PAS pipe (which is a git!), and the seal on the end of the anti sink valve (which is a lot easier than it sounds!).

Re: My HDi Xantia
I wish spheres were the same price as of a few months ago Northern_Mike - seems that they are now around £40 each!!! Typical, as I fear I may be requiring 6 now and a further 8 for the exclusive... price increase of around 60-70%. Have they not heard of the cost of living index.
Re: My HDi Xantia
They're around £20 each from AEP. Someone posted a link in another thread..

Re: My HDi Xantia
Oh good news indeed!
Do we know who can test and re-pressurise them?

Westroen Spheres in Sale is probably your closest one, they're pretty thin on the ground these days. Personally, I'd just buy new ones for the price they are now.

Re: My HDi Xantia
Autopsy of the fluid leak...
I've been out tonight in the dark with a torch and had a quick nose around to see if I can see the leak source. There is a couple of corroded pipes, the one that looks the culprit looks as though it goes to the O/S front caliper, though it is definitely LHM that's escaped...
If any sick freaks can advise that would be brill, if anyone can advise a rough cost they think it would be to repair said problem (I know it's not that straight forward) just to help me work out whether to save and fix or cut losses and run!
This is the taken from in the wheel arch in front of the caliper looking into the bay at the top of the front subframe:

This one, is at the rear of the hub looking in again, you can see it's chucked the fluid everywhere:

My already manky (from engine oil tray) but has now collected a large volume of green LHM:

This is taken looking from in the bonnet between the offside wing and the engine, looking down to the subframe:

As you can see from the last pic that pipe is manky and probably the cause. Access will be the biggest issue, the car is stuck on my drive and given the shear volume of fluid it's dropped I wouldn't risk driving it under its own steam.
Also, the car still sits in the right position and goes "high" believe it or not, so its still retaining pressure but the STOP light is on so it knows it's low.
So, anyone want to give their two penneth?

Re: My HDi Xantia
I should add, that with the corroded pipe running along the subframe its hard to get a pic so only the last pic shows the pipe in all its glory

If you look down inside the engine bay next to the belts there's a pipe which appears to come through the arch from the wheel area and then run backwards to the firewall.. is it that one? If it is .. its a return pipe ... corroded on mine.. should be relatively easy to cut and replace with a rubber pipe as its under no pressure.
