Ideally, smaller rollers would work. You might find one brand has finer needles than another - this was certainly the case with 405/Berlingo rear pivot bearings a few years back - SNR made a finer bearing. Can't comment on the "Citroëbics" idea - other than to say it won't hurt!
I wouldn't advocate fitting grease points except when doing the full strip and refurb - otherwise you might just pump swarf into the bearings from your drilling/tapping.
