Re: V6 Xantia......... the beginning of another adventure
Thanks Will, but getting it delivered to work is easy, it's what I do with fleabay, some of our trains do but they via Brim, so it's 3 hours each way.....

I guess I'm just wary, getting to the motorway is fairly easy and shouldn't put to much strain on the car, my concerns are more around the Peterborough end and getting stuck in traffic, with the added weight of the trailer.
Great that's good, at least a bumpy like me can do it, so where to get one from, I happy to travel, to get one in person that way I know I have it, but I will settle for it being posted......

Ensure parcel is ready to go.
They'll pick it up and do next day for about a tenner.
I used them lots for sending bits around the country. It's actually cheap courier work done by City Link. Sent lots of laptops. never had an issue with them.

Steve, PM seen and is in progress
Mike, you're forgiven... You are in Bogota after all..
On the same subject, those ParcelMonkey things work well.
I see you can now deposit a UPS parcel with your local corner shop now. Join up, print off the labels and job's a good 'un...
Also, UPS parcels can be sent to your local corner shop for collection.
Used it. Works a treat.

Re: V6 Xantia......... the beginning of another adventure
Steve,
Switch is now in the hands of Postman Pat and his colleagues. It should be with you tomorrow..
A 13mm spanner, a screwdriver and a small 10mm socket is all you need to swap it. 30 minutes from start to end should see it done a treat
And that time includes a cup of tea half way through

NO I haven't removed the gearbox before you ask or shout at me, this is a picture of the one destined for Jim, but it got me thinking....... Can somebody highlight the switch I'm changing to give an idea.

Re: V6 Xantia......... the beginning of another adventure
Do you see the cable with a connector clipped to the heat exchanger? The switch is on the other end of the cable.
