V6 Xantia......... the beginning of another adventure

It will work out cheaper per mile than the C6 thats for sure

The only danger then is that the C6 gets so few miles you wonder why you bother tying up so much money in it when you could have a few citroens instead and just chose what you fancy each day when you get to the key store

I known what Will, that could be problem, hence why, I'm sticking at two.......the C6 is still the main car and will get used, the only reason for not using it this week is that it needs servicing

Just think Steve, the money you could release from it would pay for a Car Collectors policy and you could have an XM and a CX in the mix and some others as they come along

Also good to have 2-3 cars so that as one is broke you have at least 1 spare ready to go Im upto 4 cars now!

I've just ordered the exhaust via the link that Jim sent situated should be here for next week. I can probably do this myself and at £65 for the full system I don't reckon that's bad at all.

I've dropped Chris (Citroenmad) an article for his column as well, and I've tried to keep that separate from to he posting on here, my plan is to run a couple of separate blogs for the moment and then combined them later on, or at least that's the plan.

Cool, I will order that when I order the matrix, I've also discovered the boot light aren't working and the gearbox selector illumination is only working on a couple of the letter,speaking to Jim about this he thinks it could be the prism....

Cant do that, sister will not be happy. Dad wants his C2 HDi back...

But best thing I PERSONALLY can do is avoid getting a 1.6 HDi when Im ready to change my Xantia...

The C4s are cracking cars in general, very underrated IMO.

I too don't think I would want to entertain 'that' 1.6 HDi engine though, unless it had impeccable service history for starters...

Franklin, Dont get me wrong.. the rest of the car (EXCEPT B L O O D Y GLOVEBOX's TOO) is great. I wouldnt say no to a 5dr..

AND Ive learnt the 2.0 16v 138bhp IS also in the C4... but most are 1.6.. fine while they go.

But there we are. It should have a blog of its own.. SORRY STEVE... BAD ME taking over.
