Indeed, I fully understand that Steve.

And Will, any support I may be able to give to this endeavour will be forthcoming as you know

You think putting new drop links on was hard, I just put two on another Xantia I've got. Had to angle grind every boot off as they were ringed! One wasn't even the right size for the car!! :(

Maybe I should setup a business of Xantia saving lol

And don't worry Jim I have a VERY cunning plan that could see this saved AND stay with a forum member!!

Knowing you, you'd spend far to much on every one of them and be out of business in the first 6 months. ha ha

You mean you wouldn't be keeping it for yourself? I'd of thought this one would be right up your street with the LPG on it.

Congrats on coming out of your shunt unscathed. =D> ( I'm glad I said that right)

Shame really. The cars are not worth much but they are a fab and cheap drive. Well cheap, till you start all the fixing, but hey........nice transport man! and never boring! You still have toys left...

I too am delighted that this car will be saved. They are becoming ever rarer and I think are very underrated. To lose such a fine example, especially after all the things which have been solved on it recently would have been very sad.

Lexi,

At the end f the day, I'm fine and that's what really matters, and yes I do have other toys....... and what toys... :-D

Bill,

I really am pleased it's being saved, it's just got to the point where enough is enough for me, the down is though that if I'm to make the car show next year at Erskin, I will have to slum it in the C6

Your C6 would be an excellent addition to next years Erskine line up.
