Good luck with the sale Steve, I know after our conversation the other day you'll miss it. Sadly it's not for me at the minute. :(.

I hope you get a decent price for it. It's a lovely car and if Jim can suss out the gearbox then will be in top notch condition. I wish I could, but I can't. :(

Guys thank for your kind words, she's only offered on here at the moment, once the gearbox is done she will go on the eBay and Autotrader.

I would rather it stay within the "family" so to speak but........

Been having a chat with Jim this evening, I'm planning on stepping up the gearbox ECU and Cruise Control repairs to Sunday.

IMO before you settle on a price you should get it over to Vince and then get pictures of it. I bet if you mentioned it in the ccc you'd likely get more than that for it Steve :)

I did think about that, but to be honest Will, it's like Fred Carno's circus here, every time I need a car, I have to move two others

Jim doesn't do temporary fixes if it is at all avoidable.

I would say that 80k is something a professional mechanic would aspire to. Mind you, it depends on what needed replacing.
