Steve, now you have some idea of the hair pulling I went through with mine - one day the engine ran like a bat out of hell, the next I was having to manually change down to keep moving up hills, then back to normal again the following day. Some days it even changed moods in the same day! Everything I touched made it get better or worse for no apparent reason making it impossible to do any meaningful troubleshooting. Some days I started to doubt my sanity.... :lol:

After almost 12 months, I've had enough Simon, Jim has graciously agreed to carry on the battle on my behalf, so hopefully we will win the war....

I am not sure if I was ever sane, I certainly ain't normal! Mind you, I believe the same could be said for a fair percentage of the forum members!

Xantia passed the MOT :-D with one advisory "Offside front Anti-Roll bar has slight play in a ball joint"

Not something to worry about at the moment for what they cost I will order a pair and both can be fitted.

Can't be no 2 that's cheap. I just sold my one last year and it cost me the best part of 40 grand. Something seriously wrong, 40 k for 6 yrs of knowing her. And now I'm skint and she got a new banker oops man!
