Mike, have you tried Wokingham Car Spares (Bearwood Close, Winnersh)? I have seen C5s there in the past.

I haven't. I might have a look. Thanks.

At the moment, I'm past caring.

At least my Berlingo mostly works..apart from the mystery knock, which I believe is the left hand track-rod end.

You might know the answer to this actually - will the Comm 2000 from my 2002 C5 work for the main functions in the Berlingo? i.e. The airbag and horn?

I think the C5 SX Alloys will fit the Berlingo. They're 4 hole, but I'm not sure of PCD etc.

Wheels should be bang on. Not sure of the COMM unit.

Odd knock I found on the nearside recently was a completely duff inner CV joint. Deceptive.

Thanks Addo. I guess the 195s won't foul anything either being only 10mm wider.

COMM unit. Hateful things. Needs must. I'd rather it fits and saves me a few quid. I'm not bothered if the cruise doesn't work.

I could even put the intercooler, turbo, manifold, pipes etc on the Berlingo before remapping it.

CV joint? Curious. This noise is an intermittent knock, which I only hear when turning right at slow speed, or setting off from a junction. Sometimes. It's worse if there's a passenger. It's a dull, distant knock from the left hand corner. No noise at all when charging down an undulating country lane at 50-60mph bouncing up and down or hard cornering. Not a sound.

Don't think it's a go-er Mike.... :x

C5: 624263
Berlingo: 6239CWQ replaced by 96787362XT

There doesn't seem to be any cross over of those part numbers between the Berlingo and C5 so I suspect it won't fit. Only one way to find out thought....

That's ok mate. Neither did I..

Anyway, kudos to VRS Salvage, a helpful friendly bunch, who refunded my payment immediately when I explained my cock-up.

Oh Buggeration. Thanks for looking anyway Richard! The wheels will still fit it.

Well seeing as it won't even start this morning.... I guess the rev counter failing yesterday was a sign of electrical maladies..
