As from today there's one more Lady in the world who has driven a V6. Kaz did a most creditable job with her first drive on a round trip from Milton Keynes to Northampton this afternoon :)

I seem to remember looking at the stats for an XM saloon many years ago when I had a Saab 9000 Saloon or Hatch (can't remember which) but the XM was something like an inch longer or shorter in every direction.

The disconcerting thing is not being able to see the front edges!

Biggest scariest vehicle I ever drove was a Dodge Ram SRT-10 pickup (510bhp) owned by the president (at the time) of the local Hell's Angels. Large and very powerful. Not sure where it was the power or the fear of bumping it that made me nervous!

Sylv says she's 5' 4" but being Austrian she doesn't understand feet and inches. I think she's 5'. She likes driving the Xantii but wouldn't have one because of the size.

Twice she has been done speeding in Xant S1. It's why I won't let her out in the S2.

You can in the XM Roger! In fact it's better than the Xantia in that respect!

Thanks Steve :-D I think it's the result of having a full week off work and just a little therapeutic spannering that's done the trick!

My wife has been reduced to tears several times by the loss of our beloved green lady - which is why we're in the market for a replacement.

Our daughter 5' 4" was fond of her petrol Xantia and (I think) rather regrets replacing it with a Toy Yoda that's been expensive to maintain.

hope you find a replace. Theres still quite a lot about. But if you notice a pattern like me. Most of the time a have to drive 30 or more miles away to get one. Quite rare they are one the door step
