We are getting off topic here... But.... I have been told (by alfa specialists and the ex owner of a alfa dealer) not to touch a petrol alfa ( they used to have to push the 156's off the delivery truck and replace motors, NEW) and only the proper manuel gear box.

I love the look of the 156/159 estates and will get one when/ if we make back to the UK, but laugh at people with them here.

Less has gone wrong in 100K/12 years than with anything else in the fleet. I seriously believe they've lifted their game and the bad reputation is no longer merited.
