This time I got 39.9 over the Aberdeen/Surrey trip, showing an average speed of 64 mph, so you can imagine some of the speeds, given the Aberdeen city speed of around 20 mph, and the bits and pieces of roadworks etc.
Last time down, I managed an average of 46 fish' at a speed of 55 average. Looks like it,s down to a heavy right foot in part.
Can I improve MPG?

I'm very happy with my 90bhp C5 HDI estate, previously had a 110bhp saloon and surprisingly there feels very little difference in power, although my poverty spec doesn't show it's MPG I'm confident it's getting 60mpg +, best of all I can park it anywhere and no longer worry if it get scratched or dented ( unlike the wife's BMW).. Luvin it!
