There's three or four versions of it depending on gearbox. The most common is 2449.84 for the BE3, as shown here. Thirty quid plus post, new.
Re: are gear linkages reusable
yeah i have a BE3 'box, there is a seller selling 1 for a BE4 but says he can order the 1 i need for the same price as the BE4 (£30-odd delivered), so ive told him to go ahead and order it.

Wow!
Realise this is an old topic, but I've never seen the big ball disintegrate like that.
I'm amazed it's available in the aftermarket. It must be common enough in some parts of the world, or it wouldn't be worth making them!
I wonder is it road salt that attacks them. Salt is only sparingly used over here and is a recent-ish thing. We used to use plain sharp sand, so salt affected parts used to last well over here.
Could be that's about to change...

Re: are gear linkages reusable
I forgot to mention my experience with the short links.
A customer having somehow managed to make the lower of these vanish into thin air, I had to source a replacement.
I took one off a 206 diesel with the BE3 gearbox, expecting it to be the same, but it wasn't
It was late at night when I discovered this, so rather than wait, perhaps for several days, while the right part was sourced, I decided to try and make the 206 one fit. By cutting it about half way between the two ball joints, I was able to align the sockets correctly and weld the halves back together
This has (so far) been a complete success, so saving a trip to a distant dealership in search of a part they probably won't have!
Always worth having a quick peep outside the box.
Most breakers will have Pugs, but relatively few will have Citroens. Not everything that doesn't fit is a dead end. Many can be tweaked to fit

devotion to duty! I'm afraid my customer would just have to wait for the part
Re: are gear linkages reusable
Ha Ha...
My customers would have to wait too. Funny how other peoples time and money is easier to spend than my own
