Re: peugeot v citroen
I do quite like the look of the BX although I've not seen one on the road for a while thinking about it...

406 solid, lol.305 was better, 405 worse than 406, 306 like a skateboard, and just as comfortanle.

Re: peugeot v citroen
Despite some reservations from some quarters on a 405, I think its about a million times better than a chavalier which would be a similar age.
Only thing I don't like about the 405, you cannot fold the rear seats to extend the boot area with the exception of the ski-flap, something they "fixed" in the 406.
Andy wonders how many were actually used for skii's though. I would of thought they would be better accommodated on some roof bars / rack no ?
405 Slightly easier to mend than 406, engine bay space wise at least. More prone to electrical gremlins though (early models) due to the strange idea of fitting connectors with male pins at both ends on some models. Great when new, not so good when some corrosion takes hold.

Re: peugeot v citroen
I reckoned the 405 to be the best used car available all things considered until the advent of the 406 which has now overtaken it, especially in seat comfort. There are still quite a few 405 estates about down this way.
