Miami Blue and Sorrento Green are my two favourite colours for a 205GTi after Cherry Red Davie...

I still have a set of Miami Blue touch-up here...

Followed a series I dark metallic green Xantia estate that was on Dutch plates for a fair few miles on the M25 heading towards Heathrow from the M1. Didn't manage to make eye contact with the driver due to heavy traffic (really? On the M25? Surely not!), but gave a wave as I passed. Was also a mint looking black 405 estate in the Terminal 5 short stay car park, that was on an L plate if I remember right.

How about this one then? It is a Hotchkiss AM2, build near Paris in 1928, was in the film Anastacia, has a fabric body, and has been owned by the gentleman in the picture since the mid 60s'

An in the wild spot James? Outstanding! Not much from classiccarcatalogue in terms of adverts and brochures from the time, but a nice picture of the logo from wiki.

If you go to the Suffolk area you might spot it there. The driver was loading it up for a rally in Diss.

Hotchkiss were more well-known for their guns and other weapons of war I believe... Hence their badge...

Spotted this morning heading into Reading Station car park, a black Citroen DS. I was not close enough to get any major details , but it was a later model with the large headlight cluster.

Ive been in Ireland for the last two weeks, seen loads of hydraulic cits there in the past, this time i saw a single xantia parked in Bantry on market day, a 2000 HDI in red, not many about now at all.
On the way home this morning i saw a early style C5 hauling ass southbound on the deserted A34, i was doing 70 (ahem) with my eyes propped open with matchsticks as the driver flew past at about 4am, cheered me up to see someone enjoying themselves =D>

If I didn't already have one car too many I definitely would!

I bought this car. I'll report more fully later. It is mechanically solid, needed tyres and some suspension work. I'm happy with it!

This afternoon at about 13:30 saw an absolutely mint looking T plate Xantia HDi in dark metallic green on what I *think* was Warwick Lane (I was working more on the basis of keeping up with the folks we were walking with rather than actual navigation) in London (which I gained access to of course by train, I Do Not Drive In London - was surprised how busy it was this morning though). Gave a friendly wave and a thumbs up to the driver, but I think he was sufficiently bemused by our group that it never even registered.
