Unquestionably the best proper estate ever is a Cx Safari but I'm just
totally biased in this opinion. But just check out the wheeeeeeeeeelbase...!

Spliffy Application?

Post by addo »

I'd never have guessed the iPhone included a "bong" (sic). Guess it takes all sorts!

Saw two R19s yesterday within 500m of each other. One hatch, one sedan. That's probably 10% of those remaining on the road here - they never sold well...

Dad spotted a CX today on the A14 - Reg number H48 TGN and was an estate.
Rare site nowadays! 8-)

Whats is so special about that particular Vel Satis Luke?

Looks like it needs a good clean and a bit of paint ...

Ive got to say, looking at that picture, the looks do appeal to me :sprint:

Sounds like my normal lament...

Modern cars don't seem to 'do' sunroofs anymore. If anything, their roofs
are so bulbous there'd be little chance of a flat glass panel tilting open let
alone slide back into the roof.

Mind, that may explain why a C6 sunroof is smoething like an extra £800
when the basic LX Xantia came with one as standard way back in '93.

...saw a Vel Satis this evening, with rather peculiar blue LED lights at the bottom of the bumper! :erm:

Oh dear. Way to ruin the grace of a Vel Satis. I notice that Citroen are putting the Audi Style LEDs on the C4 PICASSO!!! Looks pathetic.

I'll say one thing. The DS3's around here are damned bright when you see
the coming and I don't mean their 'jazzy' paint jobs! OK, it's a tad grey
and miserable weatherwise usually, but those running lights do work.

Not saying I'm a fan mind, I'd rather go about my business
(rather quickly  ) without being noticed actually!

That blue lights Satis isn't an unmarked Police car? They use some odd
choices of car 'round here. IIRC, I saw an Audi A7 the other day.
Mind they're normally the kind of car I tend to avoid at all costs anyway;
WARNING - arse driver inside!

Nope, definitely not a police car...it had a hint of 'chavvyness' as it drove past.
...I got a goodish look as it stopped at the traffic lights when I was crossing the road - I'd like to see what the driver thought of my reaction when I realised it was a Vel Satis! No other mods AFAIK, but had the usual 'boom boom' stereo in it!

Not a spotted, but ive just noticed an Xm on ebay.

Quite a car, S2 Estate in silver, full spec and with a V6 engine, only 47K miles too.

Seems very cheap, a bargain Xm V6 given the condition.
