That was one of Hub's better efforts... I enjoyed watching it the other evening...

Seeing all this Xantia love almost makes me wish I still had one...

It was almost identical to mine, except mine had a turbo despite being an LX of the same vintage. Superb car that did a lot of miles while I had it.

Out on my bike today I caught a Xantia in the wild :D
xantinwilod.jpg
Apologies for the poor picture quality from my bike camera... The light was all over the place and what light there was was mainly blocked out by a big panel van I'd stopped behind to let the Xantia through...

I then saw the Xantia pull into a driveway a few hundred feet away and stopped to introduce myself to the owner...

It's a 1.8i Sinker and it's been in their ownership since 1999 :D Lovely people and the car is in tidy condition. Turns out they owned a bike shop near Bedford before retirement and were keen TT riders...

With the owner's permission, here's a rather better photo :D

It made for a great bike ride :D

I know I've posted this one in the past but only as a very dark photo taken very early in the morning with only a headtorch for illumination..

This afternoon I spotted it again... This time in the sunshine :)

The second automotive spot during my morning run...

I'm no huge fan of these motorised prams although I'm always happy to see one well loved and cherished. This one surely is both :D

It's fairly local and I believe it's a daily driver... I've seen it out and about in weather I'd not dream of taking Bluebell out in... I expect and hope it has a nice new galvanised chassis...

Many more than you ever see these days... No doubt in the same scene in 2023 the majority would be Audis...

Is that a BX heading away from the camera (left, by the lamp post, and behind the BMW)?
