If this is at beaulieu, I would like to make the effort, have a spin off black C4 Coupe club!

(BTW how did you manage to put up lots of pictures on the same post? When I tried it, I was limited to 3)

I took ages to figure it out. My photos are on photobucket, had to resize all pics on there to 800x600, then select the pic you want to post, at the right side of the page alongside pic is a box with links in it. Select IMG code, it will copy automatically then paste into the post you are making. There is no need to click the Img orURL from the top of the editor, it will work just pasting it, starting with a new line. If you can follow that well done!!!!!!!! That's how I got it to work, only took about 3 days to figure out, I'm hopeless with computers. If I cant use a sledgehammer it's no use

Thanks, I'll try that at the weekend.
On another subject, earlier in the thread, you mentioned MPG. Recently I tried Shell V Power for the hell of it (didn't think it made much difference on the old VTS), still had 1/4 of tank when I filled it up, but still driving in the same way the computer went up from about 35MPG to nearly 40MPG. Has settled at 39.1MPG over the last 1000 miles or so. I haven't bothered to check properly by brimming & noting amount etc, but as both readings from computer must be an improvement. Whether it works out cheaper when taking account for higher price of V Power..... It does seem to improve torque a bit so can keep in higher gear as well except when really in a hurry (or having fun!)

I'm checking out a travellodge for this. I can get friday, sat and sun nights at kettering travellodge for £64 i think. That's just the room but is good value for three nights. I think it will be booked. I might have to book somewhere else for way down then back up again, I don't know if I'll manage a whole day driving. I'm getting keener on this by the day, It would ba a good chance to meet some of you, and due to where I stay there won't be many of them!

No car news to report this weekend, C4 still going brilliantly, and putting a smile on my face every time I go in it. A smile I need this week, I had to clear out and stay with my daughter as my wife was moving out this weekend. It's a mutual decision, we had just reached the end of the road. The house is sold, I will be moving out in two weeks. So that's another chapter over and the next starting. At least I won't have any arguments about planning a long weekend away later in the year  Also thinking I won't have to suffer driving a BINI again  For the life of me I can't see why her MINI was £18500 new, although we didn't pay that, was a demo loaded with extras, we paid £13500 at 6 months old and 4000 miles, when my old 107 was £6500 new, also a demo we paid £5000 at 1 year and 11000 miles. People says MINI's don't depreciate, that was £5000 depreciation in 6 months! That's a year old 107! They are also supposed to be well made and reliable, it, was towed back to the dealer twice before it was two years old and done only 18000 miles. As far as I'm concerned NOT a good car, or a good buy. From now on it will be impossible for me to lose 5 grand on a car! I'll stick to middle age cars now, to match this middle age mannie :lolhit:

Think I'll go enjoy my first night of freedom :drink: :drink:

Glad you're still enjoying the VTS & the V Power does make some difference doesn't it? Bit of an unsettling time for you, but you seem to be making the most of it! Keep it up.

A philosophy that does you credit! You can't beat a red lit up rev counter for keeping you going!
