Davie, Just read about the roof...

That's terrible  I hope a satisfactory solution can be found...

Might a second-hand roof from a write-off be a possibility or is the roof bonded in?

It's bonded in Jim, I'm going to wait a few weeks and try Insurance, hopefully glass damage at £75 excess means roof glass as well. If not then I only have £100 excess for accidental damage, they might do that, then that affects NCB. I know one thing, I can't afford £1300 for a new roof from Citroen. Maybe be cheaper from autoglass or someone else, I really don't know. It's a real pity cos the car is brilliant otherwise, just makes me smile when i get in it, and God knows I need something to smile about at this point in my life!

Insurance sounds like it'll be worth a try, hopefully your premium wont go up too much if you do have to make a full on proper claim.

I bet it is a fun car to drive, you'll have to stick some pics up 8-)

I did try a few posts back, but concentration wasn't good at the time. I think it will connect yo to my photobucket if you right click the little pictuer kind of thing three posts up on previous page ant then click open image in new tag. I cant seem to figure out how to post from photobucket directly on to here.

I really do hate photobucket now its changed to the new version

Pictures seem quite big, so I copied the IMG Thumb code

Looks very nice 8-)

It is a shame about the roof though, I'd be tempted to have it wrapped again if it looks like its going to be too costly with insurance.

I'm sure I've posted photos on here and on c1oc before off of photobucket before, but haven't done it often, and for the life of me I just can't get it again. At least you've got to them, apologies for the filth on it, but just took the photos of it dirty because I was too sore that day to wash it! The injections seem to be helping, but it's early days yet, and haven't really done much. The car will respond to a wash and chamois, it has a good skin of polish on it, as soon as I get it washed and dried then better photos should appear. What do you think about the roof? It looks to me as if someone has been injecting the chip glue to try and strengthen it. Just looks weird to me.

Now that's a tasty little car :P I could have one of those... I've always liked the C4

The VTS I must say looks very classy and stylish and I love that interior...

I see what you mean about the roof Davie

It's a belter of a motor, and comfortable too, even though it does have coily steel things :lolsign:

For it being a VTS model it is really good. The only hydraulic Cirtoen I've had is the C5, the C4 cant compete with it for ride comfort, but it's not far behind, and the sports sears are not so hard and unforgiving as some are, and for me and my problems are great. Can't wait to get a dry day, and never mind the back, it's getting a polish!

This is the cracking 107 that went to Ireland. The wheels were off, and a rev counter fitted when it went away. I feel like going to get it back. Pity that i gave him the spare key. I could have gone over there and stole it back

I didn't realise you had put some alloys on it, they do look so much more chunky with those.

They are cracking cars, I have been using our C1 a lot this week and have enjoyed every minute. They are what they are and they are bloody good at it!
