I have eventually got the motovation and better weather to get the dpf off bigpug. I only broke one bolt that had been there for 10 years lol. Water was just trickling through it so its been hammered and got some dust out, jetwashed, and is now soaking in a bucket of water with a whole bottle of mr muscle oven cleaner in it, where it will stay for a couple of days.

Just be sure you don't use expanding foam filler Davie.

Or that spray cream that foams up that they put on cakes.... no amount of that will make a DPF taste any better :rofl2:

No expanding foam here and any spray cream will go into me lol. I’ve more exhaust to look at the occasional clonk from gabbys underside has became a persistent rattle. It will have to wait until big pug gets off the axle stands. Also, after 3500 miles Gabby has broken. Indicator bulb blown lol

Cost me £2 for an orange indicator buld and 20 seconds of time to fit it. Is it covered by warranty? Parts and labour, labour is £10 per second  :rofl2:

I did offer a lifetime warranty on Gabby but it's only operative within a 500 yard radius of Little Horwood ;)

So, sorry, parts and labour are not covered....

:-D I must admit that a lot of little comments on this forum does that to me - my poor keyboard - One of the very wonderful things about this forum and long may it continue...

I smile a lot when I'm on here but today I'm smiling even more as Sian told me some wonderful news - connected with why I'm having her car - but sadly I cannot yet reveal in public what it is...

Let's just say she's made her old dad very proud...

And no, she's not pregnant....

Oh damn! My warranty is void then. No wait a minute, if I look at the route finder on my AA atlas using a ruler Macduff and Little horwood is only about 12 inches apart so thats £202 of a claim. I think ill go to the county court. Ill use Aberdeenshire cos thats where I live lol
