We've punctured the jcb.

Putting up shade netting for the shrubby now until the tyre guy arrives.

Tree plantings a nightmare. Theres 240 to do in 5 days and the digger hasn't turned up yet.

If we manage 50 today it'll be alright but I'm not cconfident right now.

An Irishman starts work as a lumberjack in Canada. The foreman explains things, advising the Irishman that, as the job is piecework, he will only get paid if he fells 50 trees in a day. After the first day the Irishman has felled 45 trees, and the foreman advises him he will not get paid. On the second day he fells 48 trees, and on the third day 49 trees.

The foreman, being a good man, and helpful, decided to go out on the fourth day with him, to see if he can help. They get to the assigned area, and the foreman starts up the chainsaw. The Irishman looks up, and asks "What is that noise?"

Its fixed now.

The jcbs only cursed with a careless driver,
Every job he does creates 3 more.
The company like him though because he's fast.
I'm trying to offload him to another site

I'm enjoying the digger as noone can talk to me while I'm in it.

I once dug a trench with a mini-JCB / Kubota digger.
All went well until I toppled the digger into the trench I'd just dug, and was left there, listing at about 45deg to the right.
Prat.
Then I realised that the arm could be swung.....and then down.....and then out we came.
Felt such an idiot.

We've all done it. Last time we had a 1.5 ton digger i sank the thing in bog and tilted forward about 45deg. Couldnt claw itself out so i levered it with scaf boards and drove it out along more scaf boards.

Todays cock up is that i started the day with 3 keys and now i only have 2. The xantia key is missing. I found the van key on the digger floor so i expect i never will see the xantia key again. The digger key os safe in the keyhole. Its the xantia key the plip works on as well. I cant say what i think here as the swear filter will overload.

James, Oh dear :( Good job it's a Series 1 as the situation is somewhat more recoverable than if it was a series 2 if that makes sense..

Fingers crossed the keys turn up... [-o<

At the moment i can only deal with it by not thinking about it. I'd just call the scrap man if i pondered it. I'll have to take the digger cab apart and see if it turns up tomorrow.

James, if push comes to shove I may well have an ignition lock set and a set of keys but I know I don't have a door lock set...

It wont come to that as I have a second key and there are aftermarket blanks on ebay.
Its the working, paired pcb with fresh batteries that's upset me. Also the fact that that dob has perfect rubbers.
I still need to search the van, the caravan and take the seat out of the digger before all is lost. Possibly it could be on the floor where i took off my jumper which is when I dropped the van key too.
So annoyed that both keys were in a zip pocket with the zip undone. I think they were anyway, now I dont have the xantia key I'm wondering if i left it elsewhere. Doubt it though as I'm using the xantia as antoolbox at the moment and I lock ot because workers think tools that aren't locked away arenfreebies.
