There's no body kit on that, it's a standard 407 Coupé.

That looks like Sainsbury's in Darnley, Davie? I think you'll enjoy the 407 Coupé, I really like our 3.0 HDi. The only complaint I've got is the suspension is a bit firm after you're used to a Citroen.

Look forward to reading your thoughts after the journey home.

Is that a 'standard' V6 then, cos i'm sure there's a couple round the doors and they dont look like that.

I'd better check tomorrow.

I must be wrong cos i've just googled a couple and they all seem to have that 'body kit' styling on them.

Guessing it cant be removed then

I picked it up in newton mearns, that was a sainsburys just as i joined the M77 David. Its a 2.7 hdi gt. As far as i am aware there is no modifications to standard. First impressions, its a great cruiser, 75 on the speedo on cruise control very nearly silent, genuine 75 on my wee garmin sat nav. I dont know what the bittons do yet, im not home yet, having a pit stop for food in Aberdeen. Its not quite the comfort of the activa but not far off. Outside is clean and recently polished but the cream leather could be doing with a good clean. It took me ages to turn down the brightness on the central information screen when it became dark, got it sussed now so i might see where im going on the rest of tne journey nowso far 151 miles covered at 75 when i could and averaged 35.8 mpg. And I did have a bit of a play with a merc lol. Its the spec and colour i wanted once i had decided this was what i was going for. The fuel guage after the 151 miles says 3/4 full yet. So will it do 600 on a tank full? I bet no lol

On a long run they're surprisingly good on fuel, if you were going on a long run I'd expect 600 from a tank would be achievable if you were obeying the speed limits. I fear it'll tumble when you get home and start using it locally.

I hope it's good to you :) You don't see many in that colour, it looks great The GT is fully loaded, that's the same spec as my old black one. When they released the 3.0 HDi they renamed it the "Sport" and everything became optional. Thankfully the one I found has most of the bits I want on it!

There was 3 the exact same for sale this week. Theres one in edinburgh which is a year older and done 100k, and one in Manchester , again a year older but less miles at 70k. My one turned 81k on the way home. The mpg rapidly came down north of Aberdeen when i admit to giving it some stick, which it wont get day to day, it was only as a see what shes like when pushed a bit. Its certainly no activa in the corners, it is good but too big and heavy for throwing it around the lanes. The sport (hooligan) mode on the gearbox and dampers do help a little pushing on, as does the tiptronic mode. Its a full torqoe convertor box though not a dreaded semi auto. Once home shaun and I tried to figure out the satnav and change the time, which is an hour out and the date which is an week out. We have came to the conclusion that i dont need to change the time, cos it changes next week anyway, and ill keep using my garmin. There doesnt seem to be any maps in it. I even let Shaun drive it a couple miles and he didnt break it! Keys now hidden lol.

This one had been on gumtree for a week or so and i was the first caller. The Edinburgh one is on gumtree and the manchester one is on ebay. The 205 was only on the 205 owners on facebook and was in thinking about selling my mums car what do you think it would be worth? Normally i dont respond to an ad that doesnt have a price stated but as it looked a decent car I made a take it or leave it offer which i thought was reasonable which was accepted. I rarely put in a max distance when im looking for a specific car, as you know i have no problems buying a car unseen and a distance away. These were both bought from car enthusiasts and if you speak to them they have loved the cars and usually looked after them well. So I have two good starts in these two cars so looked after they will be. The leon i may well keep for now for the pizza runs, it still has a few months tax paid up and the way my insurance is costs zilch to insure. The 205 is going into the lock up and only coming out on dry days, the 407 the daily for now.

Yeah make the Leon smell of Pizza. All your other cars have real character and it would be a disgrace to pizzaise them.
Even better swap it for a Vauxhall, they deserve to be treated horribly and you'd still be a full PSA fleet.

I've lost track of your cars today.
Is is 205 and Leon currently with 407 on the way?

I picked up the 407 yesterday, so I currently own the 205, 407, and leon. I have a little share of the 107 that shaun is currently using for work, shaun being my 22 year old son who lives with me. The 107 is just a pure tool, it gets abused by him working in a quarry and by me when I use it for pizzas. Shaun owns a 205gti which is away getting welded, but the guy has done a runner and we don't know where too or where the car is now and suspect it's lost, he also owns a civic type R and a Skoda Fabia VRS. He hates automatics so hopefully won't ever want the 205 or 407 [emoji39]

I don't know what it has yet Steve. I need to do a bit of studying to find out.

And the lady was desperate for money which made for a good deal for yours truly[emoji4] Its amazing what a handful of £20 notes waved under a nose does! The only downside is it just has a short MOT, i dont think there will be any issues, it has a good service history, the last service 8000 miles ago in July 16, and been done more often than peugeots frankly far too long 20k or 2 years recommendation.
