Yes, isn't it just :D It was A lovely clear moonlit morning when I went for a run at 5AM and then as dawn arose it got really foggy - I rode to work in thick wet fog and now it's wall-to-wall sunshine :)

A real shame to be stuck at work today :(

630 odd miles covered in the activa today. I set off at 6 am, and met up with Steve Trainman at preston, first 360 miles on one tank and absolutely no hold ups, a great drive. Things went downhill rapidly after that. Out on to the M6 and promptly found myself in the biggest traffic jam i have ever seen. All i know is there was an oil spill at j19 and the motorway was closed. It took over 2 hours to do 5 miles. Then there was umpteen roadworks with restrictions and lane closures. I was going to go visit sir Jim but i should have been there about 5 but it would have been after 7.30 and hes an early bedder, 7.30 pm to him is about midnight for anyone else, so that was a no no. So i am now i stalled in the most beautiful characrer cottage b&b near colchester. Time for me to sleep, get up have a shower and a full english and drive home again cos the car is faultless [emoji38][emoji23]

And Steve recons i should have removed the tailblazer that Chris paid about £150 for and asked for bids from all you happy xantia owners. It finishes off the rear od the car perfectly. Im sure it would look good on a renault red v6 i know of lol

Its goodbye activa then. Its new owner is delighted, he had a run around some roundabouts in Colchester then handed me the money and gave me a lift to the station. I am pissed off, the app i used to buy my train and plane tickets, the same app for both and paid for booked the plane today and the trains yesterday. Effing idoits. The station couldnt change them so i had to spend £45 to get the train. An email has been sent. I hope they refund me. I mean a scotsman losing 45 quid? C'mon thats unheard of. Im flipping devastaded. I might even have to get a bar of choclate to cheer myself up! I would have got a can of irn bru but you english dont sell it lol.
Edit, i will get a refund of the incorrect train tickets minus a 10% processing fee. Thats still 4 quid down grrrrr

The new owner is a member here but rarely posts so i asked him if he wanted to he could let himself be known and hopefully i can follow the progress of LTR.

He will soon have to come on here to ask for help. After all it is an activa lol. And it threw some toys out of its pram by lighting up its abs light unnecessarily. He was unconcerned about an extra yellow light on the dash lit up lol. I will still be on here, its the french car forum, and i have one frenchie in my 205 and an interest in the 107 and im looking for a better daily than the leon, which could well be a c5 possibly an x7 or a 407. It depends on what takes my eye. Preferably auto and diesel. I have considered a c6 but too big and complicated for my limited budget.
