You will be sitting more upright in the Seat? No pun intended. Could be a decent car if you are lucky with it.

Not at all. I've had two already and know my way round them well.

Something full of electrickery and autoboxes? Old and French..hmm. I've only just properly recovered from one mental health breakdown, I don't want to trigger another just yet!

Davie, I advise that nothing, not even a C5 V6, will compensate for the loss of am Activa... Ask yourself why I have gone through a few V6 powered vehicles but retain an Activa as a constant in my automotive life ;)

I'm just home from 80 miles activaing. Lovely visit to my daughter's. I treated the daughter and grandaughter to prezzies and lunch. Then treated the activa to a tankful is super plus and a wash and Hoover at the auto clean place 1/2 way between home and daughters. For £15 you get a decent hand wash, spray wax, hoover, plastics and glass clean and tyre shine. There's about 15 Polish guys going non stop, 7 days a week, and for £15 I'm not doing it myself! For an extra £15 you get a full hand polish and interior shampoo! Guess where my new purchase Seat will be next week? If the guy who sold it has been bothered cleaning it he could have probably got a couple hundred more for it. I never put a car for sale filthy. Especially if you can get a full valet for £30

A full valet is time and effort though Davie. That's why it costs more than £30 usually. I'd never get a quick rubaround at my local eastetn european drive-thru. They NEVER clean a cloth between them. Sure, the cars come out cleaner than when they went in but at what cost to the paintwork ...

I must confess I have never used one but all around me do, including the kids and they all say it's a wonderful service...

Far better than an automatic car wash and far less damaging to paint...

Maybe LESS damaging Jim, but still gritty.....I am with David, they just scratch it less than a machine.

In that case I'll carry on washing here at home with the hose pipe and a bucket... Cheaper too ;)

These guys are good. I go in with the activa every time I go to Valeries. I never would of in the past but I find cleaning the car very difficult now. I've seen them drop a sponge and it gets chucked in a big bucket market used sponges and they take a clean one. Ive had no problems there.
