Especially stuck up nobs in white audis who think they are the best!

I say this because the other day I stopped outside work in the 107, reversed into a space and stopped about 6"away from the front of a white A3, which had about 6 feet at the back of it. The driver sitting in it started blasting the horn and flashing his lights as soon as I opened my door to get out. He put his window down and called me heaps of names cos I had blocked him in. I just asked him politely if audis had reverse gears nowadays because they had whe I owned one in 1996, and even my cheap French city car has reverse, and if you can't find reverse then you shouldn't be driving then walked away. Terrible attitude.

Erm, I have to speak up in defence of drivers of white Audis. My cousin Bob has a white Audi TT 3.2RS (his previous car was another white Audi TT 3.2, which was traded in for the RS), and has been driving a lot longer than I have. He learned to drive properly, and has consideration of other drivers. He is, however, certainly NOT stuck up (OK, he did go to Cambridge, but don't let that put you off), and he is a nice guy.

He may be....but he was/is obviously not familiar with the examples set by other white Audi drivers or he would of got a grey/red/pink/purple one :)

There are exceptions to every rule, and I have no doubt your cousin is a nice guy and a decent driver, the same as there were decent guys owned and drove bmw 3 series saloons a few years ago. It just seems to be the case, here anyway, if someone is driving or behaving like a total nob the chances are it's in a white audi. I mean the audi I played with, if he hadn't been a nob, then he would have let the old £700 french saloon past instead of having to prove he is better. But then that could make me a nob cos I did play with him, but then I came up behind him so was obviously travelling at a greater pace than him, and he obstructed my right to overtake!!!!!!!![emoji12] [emoji13] [emoji4]

Alasdair, be aware that up to about 50, a C1 goes like a bat out of hell and is hard to catch, it's amazing what you can see off in one.. I once saw off a big Beemer from the lights..

To him, I think it was almost as bad as being seen off by an Activa...
