cheers derek, will do.........just hope it works and I can finally lock the car with a fob instead of spraying de icer in my locks cos they definitely don't like freezing weather and keys in the locks.......I know that isn't always the case but I don't like leaving my doors unlocked which I have had to do a few times already this winter...... :x

well as soon as it arrives dean we will be the first to find out cant see any reason why it shoulnt work but ive said that to you in the pm ages ago

cheers derek, do you want me to come over to you?? would have to be sunday cos of work? the fob should have been posted today so I hope it will be here tomorrow or friday, certainly saturday at the latest if it has been posted first class....will the hard key also need to be re programmed? I understand that all keys need to be done? but that can be sorted once the fob is here and it can be looked at.......cheers.......the results should be in by monday.........fingers crossed... :)

All keys need to be done at the same time, otherwise you'll lose the ability to use that key (until you re go through the process with the lexia).

dean only has one key i have done this on my own c5 keys and fobs thanks for the reminder ben

derek,
assuming the fob turns up before weekend, would you be able to hook it up on sunday?? I can come to you.......I am assuming it will definitely be here before weekend so I just need it hooking up to a lexia to see if it will work?? cheers,dean....

yes derek, and it isn't good.......still no fob....just praying it gets here tomorrow....they said it would be posted first classs so really should be here now,I will mail them again tomorrow if it isn't here by tomorrow because really it should be....will keep you posted, no pun intended... :cry:

they were apparently posting it on the 30th 1st class so thought it would be here yesterday or today really,but hopefully definitely tomorrow....I hope....

ok,
sorry this post is late but the fob has arrived finally. not too long i suppose, just impatient..so, derek,are you able to plug your lexia in to my car again?? I did want to wait because I am thinking of ordering one of the keys ben ordered from car key help cos timpsons want 40 quid for one which i reckon is a bit steep. but anyway, derek, if you can plug in your lexia again and see if it works I would be grateful...If you can, can you let me know if you want me to come over to you this time? if so,please pm me your address and post code,(assuming you can do it tomorrow).....we should soon know the outcome :?:
