can you get a new harnes then or a secondhand one...maybe even make your own but its time and money...
is it when it gets over 3000 then?
is that under full throttle then or reguardless of throttle position?

Yes, more so when foot down. Looking at Live data its when ever the Fuel Pressure Ref and Pressure measured goes over 1000 bar!

Keep it under 1000 bar and she is fine.. Ive got a couple of FULL engine harness and one I know had NO issues on the car it came off...

The pressure relates to the speed of the pump so the higher revs will cause a higher pressure.

Maybe the prv is the issue, is it electronic controlled possibly?

It's NOTHING ON THE PHYSICAL FUEL SYSTEM BECAUSE THE PUMP, INJECTORS, RAIL PRESSURE SENSOR AND TANK FUEL PUMP are all of a fully working car!!! So it's something on my car..

The operation works in that when you put your foot down the turns the fuel pressure REF FIGURE up .. then the ecu then adjusts the fueling to meet the ref.. that's how the engine speed in creases..

its hard demands it can't cope with. I can and do slowly climb to 90 kph and she will cruise there as long as it's a slowish increase.. but hard demand.. nope! If this xantia goes to X rally I shall do some demos to anyone there who might be interested to experience it..

there's two things left to change.. well three. The engine harness loom complete, the fuel filter housing, and the actual ecu.

Of course it does and the error every time is : lack of high pressure diesel monitor..

Yes taffy I appreciate that. I'll get there. I've found from the forum that I seem to always be the one that gets the hardest issues that no one else gets so always get to solve them solo. All suggestions made are what I've done. That's when I post up.
