I have to replace Gracies' OSF sensor, so I ordered one of these ones;

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/110942585266? ... 1439.l2649" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I have used this supplier in the past for Gracies' NSF sensor.

Hope this helps.

So you've got an intermittent fault - grotty contact or internal break in a wire. As Jim says, the rear sensors are pigs to do - or to be more accurate, the connectors are pigs to get at. A diagnostic session would be really helpful as it would tell you WHICH sensor is causing the fault. I agree the O/S/F is the usual culprit, but that's because its plug/socket contacts are most vulnerable to corrosion in my limited experience.

It is simple to do a basic sensor diagnosis provided you know which pins to test.

I hope you don't have an intermittant connection. Intermittant faults are the bane of any engineers' life!

EDIT. Just replaced Gracies' OSF sensor, and glued the reluctor ring (hope it holds until better weather allows for me to fit the replacement), and the ABS is back in business.

Thanks for all the replies. I'm waiting for my garage to be emptied so that I can get in and have a proper look .. in the wet the light is out suggesting an electrical connector or wiring fault. I'll update you when I know.

My brand new Lexia confirms the right front as the problem.. as well as a host of other faults..now I need some time to examine the software more thoroughly.
Thanks for all your inputs and suggestions.
Jim, although I'm new to this, could you tell me how to get added to the Lexia map? As I'd like to offer the Lexia to others in the Aberdeenshire area as there seem to be none up here.
