So far I seem to be the only one who doesn't like the same.
No, I'm a great fan of originality, and to that end I spent a couple of years returning a 205 GTi to absolute original spec. In all respects but I have no problem at all with Jaine's as everything she's done is reversible without leaving a trace and is well-done.

Although I like my originality, in no way am I exclusive about it as I have two modified cars myself and well modified cars ( for example the CGAT CX GTi and the LAF XM) win my admiration.

My V6 is not standard as it has a cream interior which was never offered on a blue one and my XM has been LPG converted. Again, both can be removed and the cars returned to original spec. without problem should one so desire.

The exception is my Activa. It is exactly as it left the factory in every respect and that's how it's staying.

I am not a modding fan at all but you pays your money and you takes your choice.

CGAT is a superb example of modding though.

Ay up!

Love the paint finish on the CX! That XM looks good - those wheels are a big improvement on stock.

Ay up!

I also modded my BX but in a small way. I removed the long, perforated hose that went from behind the RH headlight to the airbox. The result was an almost MGB-like induction roar with both chokes open. Kids would look round to see where the noise was coming from and their faces were a picture!

I think that CX looks simply awful.
The XM however looks surprisingly handsome despite the wheels are so out of tune with the overall character of the car.
