Is there any rush for the bonnet? I ask just in case anybody is coming down to the XM rally, I know David has mentioned he might be heading down.....

That's my backup plan Steve but I have an engineer in Grangemouth and Larg tomorrow so hope he will swing by and pick it up on the way home and then I can fit it Saturday and have it ready for a trip ;)

Small things I don't mind but not a bonnet! My XM would have a heart attack if I shoe horned something like that into her!!

Would mean taking the rear window etc out inside it too.

Not me. Being on benefits now means that I can only afford one trip a year, and I've already done it. :( :(

You wouldn't be increasing the mileage as I'm coming down in it anyway, just not shoehorning a bonnet into the back of it!!

The mileage of all the parts in the car would be loads higher ;) could you even cope with a car part being close to you that's got over 100k on it :p

I'll wave to him out the window, as I work in Grangemouth....

Might not be anybody there 2-3, but I will leave it outside leaning against the side of the garage, he can help himself.

You could always put a set of small wheels on the bonnet and tow it to wherre it needs to go
