Hello, Friends!
Please do not give the old fool ideas. He's tight enough as it is and may see this as a way of saving some money. Despite the fact that it will not suit my poweful Diesel engine.
We have another Greyhound! His name is Tommy and he is a gentle, shy boy. He loves my Daddy and Lily is not jealous. IPad tells me the 3 of them snuggle up at night.
Am I being turned into a van for greyhounds? Should I call CitroLine, the helpline for abused Citroens? Like Lily, Tommy has discovered that my rear door arm rests are perfect for resting a long elegant, pointy snoot on.

Hello, Friends!
I am on stands in the drive. I failed my MOT with a split drive shaft boot and the Old Fool bought a Universal split type boot.
I fought him every step of the way though. He has named the metal that my old boot's clips were made from Glasgowkanium. The hardest metal he has ever found! He only removed the inner clip after he lost his temper and attacked it. With an angle grinder! No damage to my drive shaft, thankfully. Then he discovered that the "Universal" boot would not fit my CV Joint! There was some choice language floating around when he discovered THAT little nugget. He has ordered a new boot with an outer CV joint as well so all should be well. He'll have to pay for a 2nd MOT which has made the tight Old Fool go quite pale.......
Just waiting for the postman now.

Hello, Friends!
That's my nice new CV boot fitted and greased but the Old Fool has not had enough time today to fit the bands.
However, he's a bit unsure as to how to tighten them up.
Any ideas? I wanna roar down the road!!!!!

Hello, Friends!
I passed my MOT today. The tester was very impressed at how cleanly my big, powerful Diesel engine runs and how I can jump clean off the brake test rig when he stamps on my powerful brakes. The Tester's face was a picture when Papa told him about my accidental brake upgrade! But then he was a little underwhelmed at 1st. I like pleasing Papa. I'd forgotten how he looks when he smiles. He went shopping at Sainsbug's and treated me to some nice diesel. He now needs to change my rear suspension ram boots but they're cracking not busted. He's also promised me some new drive shaft outer joints. I heard him tell the MOT man! I think he has a Plan to split my ball joints. Probably involving his BIG hammer. IPad will tell me what he buys. I like iPad. She's a well mannered little tablet.
This does mean I can take my Greyhounds for exciting Adventures again.
Brum, brum, indeed! Turbo whoosh!!!!

Well done, Otterchops! It looks like you also have super sticky tyres, to park on the side of a cliff like that.

Drat!
I have been shown a nice use for WD40; cleaning the plastics under the bonnet! My C5 has nice clean engine bay covers, and it actually looks like somebody who knows what they are doing has been there (not me!).

Hello, Uncle James!
Papa uses engine oil to clean my underbonnet plastics. Last longer than WD40!

Hello, Friends!!!
Papa's cover is blown, blown I tell you!
His old HP laptop has been getting VERY hot and bothered lately with something he called the Heat Sink playing him up. Papa took the Old Red one apart and cleaned it up. He found a very big dust bunny insiide the fan unit which he named Bugs. Before throwing it away. Will I ever understand the Old Fool? Then he reached for his screwdrivers and took the grey HP apart and installed the cleaned fan unit and even used some proper heat sink grease! And he threatens me with that BIG hammer? He can fix a computer! He's no Old School Fitter!!!
Apart from this interesting looking parcels are arriving. He has promised me 2 rear suspension boots, 2 new front outer driveshaft joints and a timing belt kit. Plus new oil and coolant. Once it gets warmer. He is getting old and those Greyhounds do like a walk.
I can hear him creaking upstairs. Better go. I think it is a loo trip but you never know.

Night night all.....
