Hello, Friends!

I like the thought of some silly messages. I shall see what I can do!

Hello, Friends!

I have been a busy girl but then Papa promised me I would be a workhorse. A luxurious workhorse! I have been running around lookin at all sorts of exciting things, including a very strange little steam engine with a coffee pot on its dome. I have been passenger transport, a van and even a diner! However, I take all this in my stride.

Papa has just gone purple! He thought I had switched off my automatic lights so tried to reset them with no success. Mainly because I fooled the old fool into thinking I had when they were working all along. I just wanted to see his reaction! Priceless! Pity I cannot show you, but then not only do I not have a camera, I doubt if I could use one anyway.

Oh, and Papa gave me a pat and said I was a good girl.

Hello, friends!

From the language emanating from the lounge, I think Donald, Papa's laptop, in In Trouble!

Some time ago, someone hacked Papa's email and started sending out all sorts of merde in his name. This made Papa cross and it looked for a bit as though Papa would have to get a new email address. However, they stopped doing this but instead gave Donald a virus. After coughing and sneezing for a few days, Papa removed the virus and all was well.

Until yesterday.

Donald sneezed very loudly which showed either the original virus had detonated again or that he had a new one. Whichever it is, Papa has said a lot of naughty words. I hid his big hammer in my capacious boot just in case Papa was tempted. He is, I think, backing things up to a hard drive which Donald didn't; want to talk to for a bit. After a few more naughty words, all seems well but Donald is scared. I think Papa is about to make him do Hard Things. Wish them both luck: Papa is talking about a Full System Reboot. With his size 12s? Time will tell.

Love

Tell Donald about Linux ;) Ubuntu in particular... It may just bring him great contentment and reduce his blood pressure somewhat ;)

Hello, Friends!

Good news. Papa has done a Factory Reset on Donald which has sorted him. I then heard lots of swearing while he reloaded all his packages although he had a pleasant surprise to discover his camera program has been upgraded, Donald is a happy little laptop, working his little socks off for Papa now.

We have a new arrival. A small grey tabby and white cat called Gussie who is loved by all. When I took him to the vet, I was scared. After all, the last 2 times I took a cat to the vets, the cat did not come back with us but all is well with Gussie. The vet was happy to see him, fussed him up and said he is beautiful. He had an unfortunate start and has only three legs because of this but the important thing is that he is happy so all is OK. They cannot let him out to play yet so I do not know yet wether Gussie will be a mechanic like JimJim was but we will see. JimJim used to have a racing stripe of oil down her back after playing mechanics. And she was white.....

Hello, friends!

Happy Christmas to one and all. I have spent mine the best way possible. With my feet up in the drive while my people scoff loads of grub and drink gallons of booze.

They shall have HUGE hangovers tomorrow and it will serve them right.

Yes, 'tis the season for hangovers... One great benefit of being strictly teetotal (not through choice I hasten to add..) but I'm suffering from over-indulgence in lots of very rich food yesterday...

I'm fasting today...

I had one pint yesterday and one, maybe two glasses of wine. We had a lovely Christmas dinner at my daughters but I was picking. So yes ate a bit too much. Just having a bacon sarny and turkey and chips later. Then tomorrow back on the wagon.

Hello, friends

I am a worried Citroen. Papa has a few days before I need to be out and about so he made a start on changing my steering lock and programming in my new keys. He dismantled my column shrouding very competently then said Many Naughty Words when he discovered just how hard it is to get at the bolt securing my steering lock to the column. He lay on the drive to look then let out a howl before dragging himself up using my door handle to lift himself. He struggled into my comfortable seat, still saying Many Naughty Words.

I thought I had hurt him but I hadn't. His hip had locked when it came into contact with the icy cold concrete of our driveway. I fluffed up my seat and made it as comfy as I could. Suitably rested, he reconnected my powerful battery and started me up to make sure all was OK.

I think he had had a soak in some hot water, I do hope he is OK. He's getting old!

Love

Ay up!

Fret not, Otterchops. Your Papa has now got a feeling of toothache in his hip. So that'll be that bloody trapped nerve again.

Not your fault, O little girl of mine.

Let Papa know that Poundland do Radox bubble bath in muscle relax and easy sleep flavours (well, I am not sure of the exact names, but you get the gist), and they can help.

Hello, Friends!!!

Things have been quiet chez Otterchops for the last few weeks. Papa always tucks me up in the drive on the run up to Christmas, and, with Moseley Old Hall closed during January and the beginning of February I have had my feet up. Now that the place is open once more, I have been catching up with my friends there. Mama and Papa are both happier, they like going there although they dress in "costume." Rather strange, but they enjoy it.

Won't be long before my 1st trip of the year to Wales. See if I can scare Papa again with my powerful turbo!

Love

Hello, friends!

Papa says I have been a Good Girl and rewarded me yesterday with a trip to Shrewsbury. I found plenty of fellow Citroens and Peugeots to chat to and Maman and Papa were very happy. He bought a new locomotive, a small diesel. Odd thing, I'm sure it has an electric motor for power. I cannot understand humans some times.

Tomorrow we shall be going to North Wales with the rest of the new kitchen in my capacious boot. So should I scare them by showing them just how fast I cab go? Better not, if Papa loses his licence, he may have to put me up for adoption and I like it here!!!!
