ZX, rough and weak engine.. HELP !!

Hi Mads,
Be careful when taking the throttle position sensor (TPS) out because it's set for that particular car/throttle housing (plstic caps over the bolts you have to break off to get to it that should have warned me [:o)]). I took mine out (bx 1.4i '92, monopoint inj.) because the error code readout told me it was shot and never quite got it right again.
In the end, not being able to solve the problem it took one out of a ZX 1.4i and this cured high idling problem and a little rough running. It's not perfect yet but I suspect that might have something to do with the timing.

Oh yeah, our car doesn't sound rattly when started on a cold morning, it does seem to have to wake up though, but then so do I so I forgive her[:D]

Mine isnt rattly its just that it sounds noisy when started from cold under load when it warms up its a gem. But has recently developed a oil leak from the head gasket which is annoying me somewhat.
