The inaccurate speed displays is a known problem. Various firmware updates have allegedly tried to fix the problem.... but have failed. I'm guessing it's due to a dodgy km/h to mph algorithm handily devised by Citroen

Mine reads OK, except for 20mph town limits, which reads as 30.otherwise it's all good.

Which Nav system does yours use ? Mine's the RNEG SD card based system.qprdude wrote:Mine reads OK, except for 20mph town limits, which reads as 30.otherwise it's all good.

No idea as it's too cold and dark to go and look, but the car is a 2008 C5. Not the newest system with bluetooth. I loaded upgrades from a 2 CD's.

I think that'll be the hard drive and CD based NaviDrive system.

It's loaded from CD's but it's loaded to the hard drive. There is no CD in the sat nav drive.

I had trouble with speed camera recognition then updated to software rneg_R40b_R40.03. This cured the speed camera recognition problem in 'navigation' mode but the problem persists in 'radio/cd' mode.
Anyone know if there is a further update to cure the 2nd problem?
