But now Ive found out some idout has used the wrong screws on the mirror perfectic. So I think that might be causing it to go in the door!

also water is meant to enter in through the door shell, but is meant to pass through and out of the drain holes in the bottom edge, without getting diverted via obtrusion,
i cant see why wrong screws holding the mirror should cause water to enter the car
